Just so you know what you're getting, here's an explanation of some different types of beers we offer.
Erdinger Weissbräu has been a private brewery since 1886 and generally considered to be one of the world's best wheat beers. Today, beer connoisseurs from Germany and around the world regard this traditional specialty beer from Erding, Bavaria, as the ultimate in wheat beer enjoyment, with a medium gold colour and lots of swirling yeast haze in the glass. The nose is quite clean, crisp and citrussy, with a little hint of yeastiness and grass, but rather neutral overall. On the palate the texture is creamy and dense, and this is a very smooth, sleek, tasty beer. It tastes mostly of malted wheat and barley with a mildly hoppy aftertaste.
Guinness is a a popular Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness (1725–1803) in Dublin in 1759. Guinness is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide with 5.5 million pints consumed every day. Studies show that Guinness is beneficial to the heart. Researchers found that 'antioxidant compounds' in the Guinness are similar to those found in certain fruits and vegetables and are responsible for health benefits because they slow down the deposit of harmful cholesterol on the artery walls.
